Webb steals show!

Pip Webb struck an unbeaten 167 as Cubs batted first on a pleasant day at Bledlow and posted a strong 284-9 including 70 runs from the last 5 overs! Useful contributions from Bridgen 35, Coote 29 and Rodnight W 22, kept Webb company as he hit the Bledlow bowlers all around the park with his 18 fours and 9 sixes!

Cublington took to the field looking to take 10 Bledlow wickets to take home the maximum points. An attacking field helped Bledlow off to a good start before Darling had Woodward caught making Bledlow 32-1. Wickets and runs kept coming, Rodnight and Sear with 2 a piece while Darling returned to take a total of 4 wickets. Bledlow stayed with the run rate with Bartlett scoring 109 before Darling bowled him. It came down to the final over with Bledlow needing 15 to win and Cublington needing 1 wicket, neither side managed either so a share of the spoils in a highly entertaining match to be part of!
